Today saw the official launch of Thornton Hibs Ladies team. This will now provide the pathway for our own girls teams. Ourselves & St Andrews and East Nuek now have access to a womans football team. This is a fantastic adventure and will eliminate the worry that once our girls reach a certain age then they cannot continue there footballing journey with us.
The 'official' opening today was conducted by the Lord Provost of Fife Mr Jim Leishmaniasis along with Jenny Gilruth MSP and other local dignatories.
We look forward to seeing this grow and see the positive results for our girls.
